Special-purpose gaiters designed for emergency footwear replacement and foot protection in cold, wet, or snowy environments. Part of the mountain SPN equipment set. Features:

  • Provides insulation against frost, snow penetration, and moisture while allowing rapid shoe change or drying

  • Enables limited movement over short distances in challenging conditions (e.g., crossing thin ice, rivers, or unstable terrain)

  • Made from high-strength Cordura 1000D camouflage fabric with water-repellent treatment

  • Secure fit with adjustable straps through half-rings and top drawcord with stopper

  • Full-length top zipper protected by a reinforced flap with Velcro to prevent debris, zipper damage, and accidental opening

  • Zipper tabs designed for easy operation while wearing gloves

  • Dual-layer polyethylene foam insole (6–7 mm) for added comfort and insulation

  • Designed to be worn over mountain boots; sizing runs large for easier fitting over footwear or bandages
